According to our Sunday tv magazine Cherryholmes, who have performed numerous times at SDC, will be on PBS' Bluegrass Underground this Thursday night at 9pm Central time.

If you have never heard the story behind the family group, it is a great togetherness story. After the death of the eldest daughter, the family attended a bluegrass festival. On the way home they decided to start a band, and assigned each of the kids an instrument, taight them the various instruments, and they used the music to heal from the untimely death.

From what I read they were going to disband and persue other interests in May of this year (2011), any clue as to when this was recorded?

Did you get the episode recorded, Rube? I thought it was a great show! We don't have a DVR but I'm hoping they put the show on their website.
