Okay, so I have been offered an amazing job. I would have 13 days paid vacay plus 10 federal holidays and its a heck of alot more then I make now. I would have to move, but they pay for that. They pay housing. Its a pretty good deal.

But I would have to move to Montana. I live in Missouri. I would be leaving behind my Gramma. Who is currently injured. The inlaws would also be left behind. They are an important area of my life. I want to do it. It would better my family. But I feel so guilty. Its not like I would be 2 or 3 hours away. We are talking 15-20 hours away....if I did my math right. Thats pert near a whole day and nights drive. Ugh.

So here is where you come in. I need some thoughts other than my husbands, "But there is hiking and fishing and hunting of Elk! Come on!!" Double ugh.

In the end, do what it is that will make you most happy. If staying in Missouri close to family is where you want to be, then keep the job you have and stay put. If you can move forward in your career path by making the move, and that's important to  you, go. Go for what is most important in your life. Before making a major move, investigate everything from every angle. Remember, family is forever, but jobs change and money never lasts. I also highly recommend that you go to God in prayer. If you are sincere, put your heart into the prayers, and ask God to make it clear to you which direction to go, you will get a clear answer.  God will put you in the place you need to be. When we get to making quick decisions without thinking everything out, it often takes us down a road we later regret traveling. Best of luck to you, and God bless. I'm excited for you and hope and pray everything comes out well for you and your family! :)

You mentioned one of your biggest concerns is leaving behind your grandmother. This may sound counterintuitive, but if you are able to, why not sit down with her, and see how she truly feels about it? That way you can clear that doubt from your mind, and I am sure she will be more than supportive of whatever you choose to do.

The great thing about any grandparents is that they have been around for while, and have a lot of experience dealing with dilemmas just like this one. I bet a heart to heart talk would really set the stage for whatever decision you make. :)

I'll be praying for guidance and help for you in this tough decision. I know it would be hard for me to leave my home and family. The only place I'd move is Branson...any luck they'll transfer you there?.... Didn't think so.
