Silver Dollar City's Old Time Christmas (Branson, Mo.)If it's lights you want — lights in volume — the Silver Dollar City theme park display, in Branson, Mo., boasts having more than 4 million for you. The centerpiece: a five-story Christmas tree decorated with synchronized LEDs. The "special effects" tree — blinking with up to 100 light changes per second — flashes in unison to holiday songs. More than a million lights now decorate the faux town square and twinkle along. Lights are strung on buildings, in hanging canopies over Main Street, and on Christmas trees dotting the square. A parade of colorful musical floats passes through town each evening, lit up with more than 100,000 lights.
