My husband and I went to the park Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was more packed than any of the times we have gone on the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving. Was unreal. Website said park was open until 6 but park was actually open until 10.  Echo Hollow was beyond packed. Tip of a hat to Lonestar who played Saturday night -- they really know how to entertain and were above and beyond accommodating to the multitudes of fans who wanted pictures DURING the concert.

Sunday was much less crowded in the park but Echo Hollow was pretty full for the Diamond Rio concert. This was the 3rd year in a row for Diamond Rio.

If I can help it I do not want to go on Cox Health or Mercy Health day again.

Forgot to mention the recorded music that was played before the concerts -- on Saturday night the music selections included songs by Pink, Imagine Dragons, One Republic, etc. Thought it was strange that pop/rock songs were being played before a country music concert. On Saturday night most of the recorded songs were country although there was 1 Rolling Stones song.

Did they just plug in somebody's iPod or what?  That's ridiculous.
