Bluegrass and BBQ kicks off tomorrow, 5/10.  I'm looking forward to spending most of the weekend at the city and hearing some great music.  Rhonda Vincent and the Rage and Nothin' Fancy will be there this weekend -- 2 of my favorite groups.

Duelist

We'll be there on the 19th and 20th and I've got to go see The Cleverlys.
I'm Your Huckleberry

Ozark Outlaw

One of the best festivals! The weather is nice, and the crowd levels are usually low since all the kids are finishing up school, and won't be taking any vacations till they get out. Plus, it's bluegrass, and BBQ; what a combination! ;D

Rhonda Vincent was in Farmington last week playing-I missed is as I already had plans.

Sad to say, but I have never been to Bluegrass and BBQ.

Where are the acts this year?  Is it still in the red gold?  Still a BBQ dinner there with the different sauces available?
Last year I got the brisket dinner, maybe I smiled just right at the girl dishing it up but man she loaded me up.   My estimate would be 14 oz to a pound of Brisket.  At first blush I thought the price was high but with that much brisket I was really happy.
Who can give us a BBQ report?
I think I may go up next weekend for some chow and some pickin!
Wonder if they still have the apple dumpling with Cinnamon ice cream.......

I believe in the red gold her'tage hall its all you can eat ribs (4-5 kinds) and pulled pork yummys  along with sides at 20$/adults 13$/kids, my husband wants to know is that an all day price, a come and go if you will? (highly unlikely and I told him so...) ::)

Trams, If it was all day I would NOT be telling my hubs.  They would raise prices if they saw how much that man can eat!!  :o  We should be there the weekend of the 25th for a quick trip - no frills.  Drop off the boat at the storage place, a day at BBQ fest, and drive home the next day. It's a drive down/drive back trip - one that I never like, but SDC will make it better. The next weekend, we should be back for four days of fun, fun, fun.

The big All-You-Can-Eat is in the Reunion Hall again this year.  The Red-Gold has the variety vendors again.
