I'm a staff writer with a regional periodical, an "e-zine" on the Web called "Life in the Ozarks." Two pieces I wrote for October are Halloween themed, and you  might enjoy reading them. One is about how bodies were removed from low ground prior to the filling of Table Rock Lake. Another article features ghost stories of southwest Missouri, including a story about Branson, one from Springfield, one from Joplin, and another from the Cape Fair area. Take a look! I hope you like them:

Under the "features" tab you shall find them                www.lifeintheozarks.com

Great stories, Junior. I always enjoy reading your articles, but I love a good ghost story and these were great! Thanks for sharing.

I love ghost stories! They're even better when they have a "close to home" feeling instead of the movies and stories that take place in who knows where!

I had heard stories about the moving due to the dam, but never the details of which you shared. Thanks!
