How-doFolks

Any of ya on here know anything about ol' JD tractors? I got pics but it seems like no one can see them on here. We found it out in one of our landlocked fields.

2 cylinder? Spoke wheels? PM me a pic if you want and I'll see what I can come up with.

You might try this also: http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/tractor-brands/johndeere/johndeere-tractors.html

If it's a narrow front it's probably one of the letter models. There should be a pic with each one. I'm an AC man myself, but there's a local club here that I used to be in for antique farm equipment with a lot of JD fans.

Couldnt figure out how to PM ya a picture, but the website helped out. It looks alot like a 1957 Model B, 2 cyl with a narrow front wheels. No spoke wheels.

Dont know if ya can see these pics, but i downsized them as far as i could & these are the only 2 that would come out. Thanks Alot thelarsonsix!! :)

If you can find the serial number you can usually tell what year it is. I was thinking they quit making B's in '52, but I could be wrong. Like I said, green's really not my color.  ;D The tractor data will have serial number runs matching with year once you figure out what model it is. What are you planning to do with it anyway?
Not sure where you guys are but College of the Ozarks in Hollister has an antique tractor museum that's free and open to the public. One of those things that's not really advertised much (in fact not at all) but it's something neat to go do on a Saturday afternoon.

Robert foster Museum is about..... EVERYTHING!  It has 4 floors.

1 floor is dedicated to firearms/ammo from the earliest of time to current,

Couple of OLD vehicles, the Original Beverly hillbillies truck is there.

Several stuffed/mounted animals.

Collections of dolls,

quilts on display,

Some miniature displays.

The Museum is not "specialized", in any 1 topic.. Almost everything on display are donated items from people from all over the U.S. and beyond.

It is a must see, if you like museums. And if i remember right only $6.00 to enter..
