^LOL.  I get out the 18th of May for now.
I'll probably be working Summer School this year though, so June will be tied up with that.

I think 3 snow days for me.  It would be 4, but we went to school on MLK day to make one up.

Wednesday and Thursday are optimal days for this, so I can avoid after school meetings.  Bonus!

Junior

We are supposed to be hit Monday night through Wednesday with more "winter precipitation" in NW Arkansas. I wish that there were snow days in my line of work (healthcare) but the ole ER keeps churning away, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week...
"Howdy there folks! My name is Junior Dugan, and I'll be drivin' your diving bell!"

sanddunerider

well hopefully u wont have anything to do junior...........

rubedugans

At this point, I know I might be the only one, after 5 snow days, I am tired of them seeing that I already don't get out until June as it is...We don't build in days, they are simply tacked onto the end, and after 5 (where we are at now ) we lose Sprong break days, and president's day.

We are being told it is going to be here in StL. Like the Blizzard of 82' crossed with the ice storm of 2006'. Both devistated areas of the city.
Some get heavy freezing rain
Others Get 1-2 FT. of snow
Others get a mix of both.
News weather men are calling for many days of power outages, and tree damage etc.

1/10" of ice by Monday morning commute followed by 8"-14" of snow compounded by 25-35 mph wind. Should be "fun" - would like to get a few days in this week so I can work on the band's courtshow drill for Homecoming.

UGH!

They just updated the prediction....

18" with an error if +/- 2" by 6am Wednesday total accum.
Drifts are expected to be upwards of 4' (yes feet).

school already cancelled today in my area.  raining and making ice now,  snow moves in tonite.  i would expect at least 2 more days cancelled here.
