What is funny is that my prior number was mathematically an estimate based on my current posting rate, etc. Factoring in the time away, and single or no post days, I had 8/8 as my date...I am one day ahead of schedule! August 7, 2011...here I come! (That is when I will hit 2K) So you all know when to order the ice cream cake for...I am a big fan of cannoli cake if you happen to be here on "the hill" in StL, but I would take a big, fresh cinnamon roll from Eva and Delilah's with 2 candles in it anyday!

I am ahead by about 15 days for my attempt to reach 2,000

Goal is now June 23 , 2011

HB is on pace for an amended goal of March 30th his average dropped 0.122

Junior should reach 2,000 about May 21 AGAIN

All of this Despite a difference of 2 years 2 months, and 3 days between registration dates (HB being the earlier of the two)

In order for me to tie Junior (As HB pretty much has this one in the bag)
I will have to up my postings by .18 per day...

Just for fun...
522 days from now which would be June 6, 2012...sanddunerider will reach 2,000 at his current pace
1125 days from now which would be Jan 30, 2014... Andymeets1880s wil reach 2,000 at his current pace
And if someone joied today, and posted once a day, they would reach 2,000 on June 24, 2016

It's a big task...I remember how excited I was to reach 1,000...but I hope I'm up for it!!! 2,000 post, here I come!

I would probably do better with this thread if I stopped taking two month breaks twice a year.

Either way, it's almost time for a 2K Post Club thread since several of the members here are knocking on the front door step of 2,000.

I took the advice from the 1K club, and started this thread to ready the banner and members only jacket for the first recipient to the 2K club. I haven't sent it for embroidery of a name yet... Bring it on kids let's start the music!

Gotta love your tenacity, but the statistics things is a little frightening. I just took the longest break from SDCFans since signing on, and my average has dropped. I hate that I'm letting you guys catch up to me, but between school, church, and a new baby, my time has been required elsewhere. That doesn't negate my passion for the site though.

Easy math, even for me.

Number of posts remaining until goal...
divided by avg. posts per day...
gives you the numer of days remaining until your goal.

Add that number to the date today, and you get your goal date!

(-I do alot of stats, and workout plans for athleteswhere I coach, so I am used to avg miles per day, mph, race results, etc. so It was an easy transition to posts per day!)
