Rate your 4 favorite SDC eateries with maybe even a mention of a favorite dish there.
Each of us haven't tried every restaurant or food in SDC so maybe we will get some good ideas, for a nice change of pace.

1.  The Big Jack at Jack's Sandwich Shop.  The olive spread on it is amazing and the size is HUGE.

2.  Lumbercamp Restaurant - the deep fried pickles.  Hands down my favorite snack....the burger is secondary to it.

3.  Aunt Polly's - Fried Chicken...yum!

4.  Buckshot Annie's Skillet Cookery - The kind with the sausage in it.

Molly' Mill for breakfast in the morning.
Sullivans Mill for Sugar Cookies and Cin Bread
The Candy Shop for anything freshly made
The BBQ Ribs, BBQ Sandwiches, Roasted Corn on the cob and a couple of skillet dinner then we watch the lost river.

Dinner back at the Condo 1 1/2 inch cut ribeyes grilled medium covered in bleu cheese crumbles and saute mushrooms, twice baked potatoes, fried corn and salad with hot bacon dressing.  Sitting on the deck overlooking tablerock with a cold one.  What a perfect end to a great day.

Junior

Last time I visited Six Flags St. Louis, late '90's, I guess...they had a McDonald's on park that did a thriving business. In fact, we ate there to save some money. So here is my question, should SDC put in some fast food places...NOT ON PARK...but say, in the Ozark Marketplace??? What do you think?

The McDonald's is no longer in place at SF StL. It is now a burger place that serves burgers, chicken, and fries.

There IS however a Johnny Rockets, AND a Panda Express in the park though-along with a Cold Stone Creamery (these are all of the name brand places). There is a plethora of other food sources from roasted ears of corn, to turkey legs, and other stuff....

By the way I say no to your question above also

betamike

The piece of this question that is most troublesome to many (besides the commercialism) is that most people only would eat there to save a buck.   That seems fine at big less-caring types of places, but would feel like I was not spending my money on the good folks of SDC.
