Season pass benefit extension
« on: February 01, 2021, 02:46:19 PM »
Just saw where the PTB are extending the best benefits season pass purchase again till FEB 8. Must be getting a very slow response again this year. This is the latest it has ever been extended to.

I decided not to pay to extend mine for a couple of reasons. First there was no clear cut price or option to extend the trailerblazer pass.  Just something about a discounted rate would be coming in 2021.  Second, I bought double park pass for 20 but did not want to do it again in 21.  They were basically making you pay to upgrade both.

Slow response?  I am sure with the unknown handling this year for the "plandemic"...,  and the increased costs of tickets...
I am sure there is a lot of thinking going on amongst buyers..
Hindsight says maybe should have left this years price alone, and raised it next year....  oh well..

Hindsight says maybe they should have just extended the 2020 passes all the way thru to 2021.  I am increasingly less and less impressed by the PTB, seems more geared toward the money these days.  What isnt though?

ON a related note, has anyone who transferred your 2020 passes to 22021 actually received the new ones yet?

Agreed 100% they should have followed what WOF/Cedar Fair did for their customers.

Definitely.  You would have had some of the holdouts come and spend money last year as well.  As is, HFEC ended up looking like a money grab whereas SF and CF look like benevolent.  Optics are everything in this business

Haven't received my rollover passes yet, but I did receive the new passes I ordered last week (was really shocked at how fast those came in the mail).

I'm probably one of the few, that actually used my pass more last year than years previous. So this roll over for $50 was a great deal for us.

Some years, when I didn't use my pass, they would just refund it and apply it to the new pass I was purchasing. Did anyone who had passes and didn't go to the park in 2020, just try and get a refund and apply it to a 2021 pass?
