Construction/Rumors / Re: SDC's 2023 Project(s) and Park Developments

Im guessing the priority entry could be where the first aid station is. They used that entrance a few years ago for an event.

General Silver Dollar City Talk / Re: Trailblazer Season Passes
« on: February 10, 2020, 02:21:40 AM »
When you purchase your trailblazer pass, they will send you a temporary card in the mail. When you first visit you can either go to guest relations or cave desk. I recommend the cave desk. They will take your temporary pass and issue you a season trailblazer pass. They then or should put your pass number into the system (at least they've done that on mine ever since Ive bought them). Then they will write your name on your pass and place a wristband on your wrist. The wristband lets the ride operator know that your season pass and trailblazer pass matches and all that good stuff. When Time Traveler first opened up you could only get one fast pass per day. They simply used a marker and initialed the wristband you had on and yes they checked if you tried a second time. You cant use the pass for anyone else and Ive tried to get a reason why and they haven't gave one yet. Just know you HAVE TO go to the cave desk ON EACH visit and get your wristband. If you try to get on rides without the wristband, they wont let you on. Dont forget your trailblazer pass because you likely wont get another (unless they put your pass number in the system). Have had season trailblazer passes ever since they started and Im very familiar with the program. They are great and personally feel its worth it, especially on busy days.

General Silver Dollar City Talk / Waterfall
« on: January 02, 2020, 05:54:23 AM »
I was just wondering if the rumors about the Waterfall are true, they say that at one time you used to be able to walk behind the falls. Is this true? If is is true then why did they discontinue allowing guests to walk behind the falls. Is it possible they will ever reopen that area again?

General Silver Dollar City Talk / Opening Day at SDC
« on: March 13, 2019, 12:01:19 PM »
Light crowds so far. Time traveler was awesome as usual. Thunderation was rough as usual. Flooded mine got some love during the off season. Firefall has a new seat belt. Riverfront is so different. New pan mining site by the exit to the river playhouse. They took the old one out. The whole area is significantly changed. I’ll post pictures later.

General Silver Dollar City Talk / 2019 SDC Refill Tumbler
« on: October 31, 2018, 12:54:35 PM »
SDC just announced a 2019 Refill Tumbler for $49.99. With that purchase you get free refills all year long. Seems awful pricey. Thoughts?

Other Parks / Worlds of Fun Question
« on: September 24, 2018, 06:48:06 PM »
I have been to WOF several times this year and have noticed several things that I don't agree with. Its just two things in particular and they are smoking/vaping and drinking alcohol in the queue lines. To clarify, observed several people smoking and a lot of people vaping in the queue lines. Was standing in line for the Cornstalkers maze and had a large group behind me drinking beer. They had the larger cans of Bush Light. I know they sell alcohol in the park but didn't realize that you could carry it around with you. Several security and park employees seen the above mentioned behavior and ignored it, which lead me to believe its acceptable behavior. What are all your thoughts on this type of behavior?

I was there Saturday and can confirm that it wasn't busy at all. Every ride was walk on except for Time Traveler and after the rain storm it shut down for the rest of the day.

yeah you can’t let others use your season trailblazer pass. It be nice if you could. Fair warning if you get caught they will take your pass away.

Trailblazers pass works as follows......you can ride these rides as many times as your heart desires without waiting in line.

    Outlaw Run
    WildFire
    PowderKeg
    FireFall
    The GIANT Barn Swing
    Thunderation
    Fire-In-The-Hole
Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train
    Electro Spin
    Magnificent Wave Carousel
    American Plunge
    Lost River of the Ozarks
    Tom & Huck's RiverBlast

Time Traveler is ONLY ONCE per day

You have to stop by the cave desk and get a wrist band. This wrist band is ONLY for season trailblazers passes. They use this to verify that the pass is yours and not someones else. If you go to a ride without the wristband they will likely not let you on.....some will but most wont.  On Time Traveler they will mark your wristband so they know you rode it, if you tried to come back for a second ride. They will check your wristband to see if its marked.

I have had these Passes for several years and love them. I only use them when the lines are long. If I walk up and its a short line...then I will just wait the few minutes. Its aggravating to see trailblazers use the pass when the line is short. Please bear in mind that you will get nasty stares when you bypass the long lines.

We aren’t at the red gold hall. They actually took us to the loading station on TT. Brad told us it would be around 10:30-11 before it would open. Just remember swoosh saying it would be open on time lol. Guess he was wrong.

I thought someone said it was going to be 41 degeees at midnight. It’s 7am and it’s 29 degrees. You still think TT will open at 9:30am.

I bought two season trailblazer passes for myself and daughter and have bought them every year that they have offered them. We have personally  got  our money’s worth from them. Please keep in mind though that we only use the pass when the lines are very long. It’s mainly for the bigger rides.
