Not that I have forgotten the other "projects" that I have...but these were a bit easier to create! Some of you may know that I am an avid camera collector, and user of said cameras. They collect no dust, they get used. I have acquired a large format OLD camera that I have retrofitted to digitally take photos using the body of the existing camera. The only manipulation is converting the camera to b/w before, or after shooting (In this case it happened to be after.) Let me know what you think!

I've been a photography enthusiast since high school, and look forward to more shots here, Rube! Good work!

Here is a linoleum block (much like a woodcut just out of a plastic/ rubber block that is used like a big stamp) print of what I am calling "Winter at Birdle's" . I was inspired by an existing print I saw in a gallery, and made several changes to it to have it reflect Birdle Mannon's cabin in SDC.

Well, that trap looks a little larger than one that would be needed for a finger....

rubedugans

Ha....It is a plaited vessel/ basket....ends up being more like a one ended chinese finger trap on steroids, If I opened up the other end to would be large enough to be an arm trap or a finger trap for Paul Bunyan

This is my example I made for my computer animation class for their first project, a 14 slide GIF. It is not perfect but it works how it is supposed to! It is 22 pixels high x 230 long...all little boxes of color x 14 separate images to create the animation of the train at different points along the path...once it is created, it is a pretty easy task to move it along...total it is 5,060 pixels per image! Impressed right?

I undertook a HUGE project for me this year...1 artwork a week for the full year. Though at times I thought I might not make it, I came out a few ahead by the end of it all. SDC was prominent in a few artworks. I thought I'd share my holiday themed image here with you all. Don't you wish you had been on my nice list to receive one of these one of a kind prints? No they are not sold, sorry! This is a three color linoleum block print /reduction block print. This was actually a test print, that turned out to be the best of all the ones I made in the series! (Please be respectful and observe my rights as an artist and NOT print/ distribute the image below- Yes this has happened as I have seen my images elsewhere without my name connected to it!)
