I agree! I think I have made the trip from StL between 5-8 times this year, and I have definately 2 more before the season is over! WOO HOO!!! I was going to attempt the opening day, and closing day, but thats not gonna work this year!

Financially, I've not been able to go very often. But next year, I plan to be extremely frugal with my money so I can go at least enough times to get the ornament.

I wanna get a huge group together to go for May 1st. I'm thinking of maybe staying at Deer Run the night before & if we get four or five people to a room, it wouldn't cost much.

Then we'd be right there to be able to get into the park the minute the turnstiles.

I wanted to camp out (you know like Black Friday Shopping camp out). That would be hilarious for them to come to open the turn styles, and see me in a pop up tent.

I'd totally camp out, too, if it was allowed. :-)

It'd be like those people who camped outside of Disneyland the day the Pirates of the Caribbean movie premiered.

Well, I'm hoping that maybe we'll have an agreed upon T-shirt design before then so that all the SDCFans who are there May 1st can be wearing them... We'll overrun the park! They shall bow to their new overlords!

The park will be quite overrun that weekend.  The Ozark Mt. Daredevils are coming out of retirement to do a concert that weekend.  It will be crazy packed.

Yeah, I'm staying away the day of the concert. I'm not familiar with the group anyway. I'm just interested in May 1st. :-)

It'll be cool to watch the fireworks at Echo Hollow... Can't wait.
