American Plunge...For some reason I think that everytime I see those I don't understand why they are there but at the same time this guess seems waayy off base.

Someone's on a roll!  This photo is one of the illuminated crystals in the Flooded Mine.  With the flash, it really looks different.

saloongal, I think AP used to have illuminated crystals on on the cave wall...when there was a cave...so you're not "waayy off base".  Anyone confirm?

Okay...so it has been awhile since I rode AP (the kids aren't big enough yet) but I hate ask this...There is not a cave at AP anymore???

No, it diverts away from the cave now.  From what I understand this is due to the fact that the cave walls started crumbling and it needs to be fixed up again.

As for the crystals on the AP cave walls, I can confirm that it had some.  I remember them pretty vividly. :)

Yes, AP is just a shadow of its former self.  It takes about half the time it used to, and now we float through a concrete box - not very creative.

Anyway, salooongal, you are on the board!  You must have noticed the white picket fence in the reflection.

That's kind of sad about AP. It's been a while since I've ridden it.

I just happened to be on working on a calender, and the SDC fans shirt/design...

My guess is that this is looking up from in between the Dockside Theater, and Aunt Polly's. I believe that this is the wooden structure that at one time held advertisements overhead and netting once was secured to the top.

^My guess too!  When I do know one I'm always too late. :)

Apparently rube is feeling the "Steam" so he adds another point to his score.

That has to be it^ the only other wheel I can think of is inside Wildfire on the big WildFire Fuel Tank.
