Mark your calendars for our regional winter event at Silver Dollar City on December 6th. While the details are still being ironed out, this year's event looks to be an exciting one and we hope to bring the details of the event to you soon. Continuing the traditions of years past, we plan on bringing together park representatives from throughout the region to discuss what is to come in 2009 in addition to enjoying the wonderful food, atmosphere and hospitality that can only be found at Silver Dollar City.

I'm looking forward to it, this may be the first year that I can actually make it. Let's just hope it doesn't rain again this year.

Last year didn't rain.  Two years ago was the nasty one I believe.

I remember my wife and I driving down the Friday afternoon before and spending that evening in the park without even wearing coats.

It's considered a non-coaster event though and the coasters are just a bonus.  The presentations should be interesting this year.

Did we get Six Flags on board this year for presentations?
You might also see if Magic Springs wants to come up since they are near by.

The St Louis has not confirmed yet.

I know that WoF is in it to win it though.

Yeah he told me that on Saturday that he is looking forward to "getting paid to ride rollercoasters" as he put it. 

Any word from Schlitterbahn?

Schlitterbahn still hasn't put together their local marketing team.  They're getting close though and once they're in place we'll hit them up.

Anyway, what exactly is this Ace Coaster Christmas deal?

It's considered a non-coaster event but if the weather is nice enough there will be morning ERT on one of the major coasters.  If the weather stinks ERT on Fire in the Hole is likely.

There's a lunch, which includes presentations from the regional parks.  Silver Dollar City and Worlds of Fun have already confirmed.
