Thunderation Grand Opening and Construction

I was wondering if anyone here was at Thunderations Grand opening and would have some pictures or a story to tell? Also any construction photos etc.
Thunderation was my first Roller Coaster so it's very dear to me! I rode it first in 1996 and just wish I could have been at the opening!

Also I have been looking in vain for vintage or even current Thunderation merch and clothing. If anyone know of some let me know!  ;)

Here is a link to the pictures of my Tin ThuNderaTion Mug that was purchased during the opening weekend of TNT. We also have a TNT lapel pin, but I haven't uploaded a pic of it yet.
