I have only received one and it was about the Showboat. It centered on a show around Reba McEntire with performers signing her work and stuff she would ok. Other shows to compare it to were a Broadway musical show, a Rockettes show, and a America's Got Talent show.

So, the Showboat is getting a new show for next season.

chittlins, i hope you are right about the new show, IMHO the "showmen: and Janice Martin SUCK!....(made in the usa blue)...

However I do like the summer show on the bell with the Showbells,Mike Bliss and Dean Church. (made in the usa red), Dean has been with the boat for years, But is pretty good entertainment and mike does some great illusions and jokes.

I should clarify, the other shows were in addition to the Reba show, as in other concepts not part of.

Swoosh

Did anyone get the future attractions one yet?  :D  Some cool stuff on there.  Since we're being so secretive, I'll wait until other get it
SWOOSH

Gilligan

Nope!  I still haven't received any of them.

Joy

Hmmm. I got the three I mentioned earlier in this thread, and that's all so far. Nothing about future attractions. Darn it. I love getting those ones.

cowboy

I just got one and it was asking me about Fall exhibit shows such as:
sidewalk art competition, car shows, military show, Jack Hanna, Missouri sports greats, and several others.

There really wasn't any that made me want to drop everything and head over to SDC to watch any of them.

Jay, i would have to agree with you on  that......  Nothing real exciting on that list..

with the fact that most of your list would not be "in theme"..??

How could you consider having a car show @ SDC???

I'll have to go along with you two.  Please.....NO CAR SHOW AT THE CITY!  That includes...NO MILITARY SHOW, JACK HANNA, or SPORTS!  It doesn't fit theme, and I would not attend any of them.

Still...no surveys for me.

I thought Jack Hanna and his animals or some other type of animal show had already been at SDC during Kids Fest. I know I've seen dog shows during Kids Fest and there have been Birds of Prey at Echo Hollow.

History note: Marlin Perkins' Zoo once was a featured attraction at SDC! (Marlin Perkins was at one time head dude over the St. Louis Zoo, but is best known for his role as host of a wildlife show in the 60s and 70s called Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom.) Perkins' Zoo was at SDC sometime in the early to mid 60s.

Milk products 2 booths? ( Joy)

Thats a lot of info, what did I miss..

Will be interesting to see what they do with the feedback info.

So far I only received one survey and it was about that silly acrobat show. Though (IN ALL HONOSTY) I cant remember if the show was something "possibly" coming to SDC or Branson in general. Its been too long since I answered it, and I have no interest whatsoever in "yet another" acrobatic circus. I work with a few "know-it-alls" that have to have the winning word in every event like a center ring circus act.  Honostly, one of my good friends there "and myself" have givin the nickname "CIRCUS ACT" to one of those crybaby acrobats.

I did receive a similar survey from SF corp. a few days ago.  Oddly enough it was a questionaire about how I would like to see the old fashioned train removed and replaced with a "high speed" train? Of course the tracks would be modified as to NOT cross over any pedstrian walkways.
-Again going superfast on 2 thin rails (see a previous response from me about this subject)! I would far rather be on a controlled track such as a (oh I dont know---one of them--ahh--what are they called again? Hmmmm Its coming to me, OH YEAH) a roller coaster. Seems SF has more of these things than most other parks (save Cedar Point).  Why would we want to remove an old favorite. Everybody likes to slow down and take a leisurely train ride sometimes.  Somehow flying around the park at 60+ MPH on a speedrail does not sound as peaceful.

What acrobat act are you referring to?  The Wallenda Brothers?  I enjoyed their show when it was at SDC last year.  The Chinese Acrobat show in town?  Have't seen that one, but it seems quite a few people like it.  Just not sure what show you mean.
