My hubby and I will be in Branson Saturday evening through Tuesday. In my mind we'll be at the City all three days starting at 8:30, but he thinks that's too much.  ::)  We'll see who wins.  ;)

We went last year for one day of passholder appreciation (I think it was a Monday so crowds were low) and we really enjoyed it.
"Red Flanders, you come back in here and put on your pants!" "Well Sadie, I ain't got no pants no more. The dang Baldknobbers stole 'em!"

Tinmann and I went one day last year and ended up stuck on the Powderkeg lift hill. By the time we got off, the extra time was over. So, didn't really get to enjoy extra ride time. If I go this year, I'm gonna ride rides that are less likely to stop working (*shakes fist at PK*).

Joy, how many people showed up for this extra hour of ride time?

Oh gosh. That was a whole year ago (my memory is horrid). I don't recall there being TOO many people. But then, we went straight to Powderkeg and was in line and then stuck on the coaster the whole time that the extra hour was going. So didn't get a good feel for how many people.

I just noticed today that not only are we getting an extra hour before opening, but an extra hour after closing!

That extra hour after park closing is new. I swear that wasn't part of that post just last week when I looked.

How-Do: That should be fine! Depends on how antsy my 5 year old gets to ride Powderkeg :) We might just ride it Sat with the cousins. Anyhow Sunday Taffy 830! :) And the extra hour after is amazing!! WHOOO!

My only question is how are they going to separate us Season Pass holders out at the end of the day from the non-passholders?

They might just check your ticket at the entrance to a ride.

When my friend and I were at Magic Kingdom, we went to the Extra Magic Hours, which gives guests who are staying at the Disney resorts a few extra hours of exclusive time in the parks. At closing, the way to get on a ride was that you had to show the cast member at the entrance your Key to the World card. A lot of people had lanyards with their cards in them so that they didn't have to dig them out at every ride.

I was there Saturday not realizing it was "Pass Appreciation".  Hubs and I were amazed at all the people arriving so early, and then IT DAWNED ON US!  I would say there were a LOT of people there for the extra ride time.  We stopped at Delilah's and watched the crowds pouring in.  We raced over to the train to get an early ride, but it wasn't going to run until 10:00.
