A fad in the early '80s were T-shirts that said "mustache rides for five cents" or something to that effect. Sometimes us silly ole Dugan boys would play dumb and ask the wearer of the T-shirt what that meant. It made many faces turn red. Those were the days before the park asked people to NOT wear T-shirts that were offensive. But, honestly in those days, few people would wear a shirt like that. I am old enough to remember many people around 1980 that wore "Who Shot J.R.?" T-shirts, and when the singer Rick Springfield was a sensation, his tour T-shirts reading "Working Class Dog" were all over the park...usually worn by teenaged girls...kind of like the Justin Beiber stuff today.
