Funniest t-shirt at SDC?
« on: December 26, 2011, 11:24:48 AM »
What's the funniest t-shirt you've seen someone wear at SDC?  Back in the summer while waiting in line for the Giant Swing, my son and I saw a teenage girl wearing a t-shirt that read: "Clarinets- we're like ninjas.  You can't hear us but we're there."  Funny!

I saw a guy wearing a sleeveless red and yellow tye dyed shirt on the back where on a sports jerzy the name would go it was quichabitchin. It took me a good minute to read it.

A fad in the early '80s were T-shirts that said "mustache rides for five cents" or something to that effect. Sometimes us silly ole Dugan boys would play dumb and ask the wearer of the T-shirt what that meant. It made many faces turn red. Those were the days before the park asked people to NOT wear T-shirts that were offensive. But, honestly in those days, few people would wear a shirt like that. I am old enough to remember many people around 1980 that wore "Who Shot J.R.?" T-shirts, and when the singer Rick Springfield was a sensation, his tour T-shirts reading "Working Class Dog" were all over the park...usually worn by teenaged girls...kind of like the Justin Beiber stuff today.

I remember the "Who Shot J.R.?" shirts; as hindsight, I'm thankful I didn't own one.

I've got a T-shirt that says that " I do everything that the voices in my wife's head tell me to do"
and  I know it's not a T-shirt but what about the great Branson staple of the hat with two bills that says" I'm their leader, which way did they go."
And of course who could forget all of those Big Johnson and Co-ed Naked shirts from the 1990's.

Those are funny, Bobber.  I get a lot of comments when I wear my t-shirt with the phrase "I'm Your Huckleberry" with a picture of Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday from the movie "Tombstone" on it.

Duelist, that would have to be the best!  I tell my husband "I'm your huckleberry" quite often.

I never wore it to SDC, but I did have a shirt that appeared to have makeup smeared all over the shirt with the caption below that said "I ran into Tammy Faye at the mall!!"

I have a shirt that reads...
"If a man is at the lake, and there is no woman to hear....
If he speaks, is he still wrong?"

I get a lot of comments (especially "yes" from women) when I wear that shirt.
