You have a great past just ahead of you.

Spouse and I have a date Saturday morning at Sullivan's Mill - cinnamon bread and coffee are on the menu!  A crowd at SDC is better than grading papers, yard work, and cleaning the garage any day!  Hope to see you all there!

Well, today is the big day!

Any Silver Dollar City visitors that can chime on what the crowd levels were like, and their experiences? The weather was beautiful! :)

I was there yesterday and it was VERY crowded! It was kinda cold, probably because I'm used to 100+ degrees and it was around 80 most of the day. We got there around 8:45 for breakfast, and we ended up leaving between 4 and 5 because we were getting annoyed with the rude people and all the shows were over and the ride lines were unbelievably long. We were going to go back for the Easters, but we got wrapped up at Branson Landing, then we got stuck in traffic.

the Harvest Festival is by far the best festival of them all! I dont care who you are. Not only is it perfect weather not too hot or cold, but the amazing colors and crafts. And if you feel like riding the water rides, you can bring a change of clothes ride the rides and there are no lines!!

How were people being rude?

Some of the guests were stopping in the middle of the road, and screaming at each other, and not saying "excuse me" when walking in the way when they could easily tell when they were in the way, people butting in line... etc.
Pretty much everything that I can't stand.
Makes me wonder why I'm going to college for hospitality mangement!

It's funny how holiday weekends will always bring the rude ones out. Thankfully, that is the exception more so than the normal.

MissinTheGreenTrams

I have found rude people and rude pushy kids here and there but usually you find really happy people willing to share their SDC experiance and somtimes life story willingly. SDC is a happy place!
