The survey was just loke always...  How much are you willing to spend and such..  Until the last 2 questions..  Looks like SDC is thinking about changing to PEPSI from COKE..  I surly hope not.

I found the questioning about the soft drinks strange " Would you still attend an event if they did not serve your choice of soft drink"  ( something like that.)   You know the deal with the soft drinks is there contract with Coke may be up or Coke is not offering the perks that Pepsi is.  I ran a country club 10 years ago and Pepsi offered to pay the golf pro several thousand dollars if he would switch the course to Pepsi.  ( direct payment to the Pro.)  There is a lot of money in those drinks.

Sounds like they are also concerned about the economy and its impact.

I agree with the above post. Any smart company will go with the vendor that offers the product at the lowest price. SDC and coke have been partners almost from day one. This would be a big change for the concessions/restaurants, but business is business. The old days are gone, and tough economic times are upon us. Ya gotta do what you gotta do.

My question is .( As adults here)
Realistically, would a choice of soda make any difference at all to your decision to visit SDC?
I personally would like them to serve Jones natural soda, but thats because of the corn syrup.
SO, would Pepsi keep you from visiting SDC?

I will not drink Pepsi, but then again, I usually order the free water.

Funny you say it that way, because i wont drink Coke, usually do water.

I will drink tea at restaraunt.

Although if Pepsi was available, i would buy it.

Keeping with the 1880's  Coke was from 1886 and Pepsi was from 1903...   So that means no pepsi...   lol

Coke product vs. Pepsi products doesn't matter much to me.  I usually drink frozen lemonade or the free water.

^^Absolutely, I had thought of that, too.  Dr. Pepper would be acceptable, as well (1885).

Well I am a huge Mr. Pibb fan. We typically can't get it in Central Arkansas, so everytime I drink a Mr. Pibb I am reminded of SDC. Its kinda like smelling the hot wet blacktop (I know im not the only one who gets that feeling ;D )
Myself, and my family included do typically drink the frozen lemonade while we are in the park though; so the pepsi change wouldn't effect us that much.
I also have realized that Mr. Pibb is now Pibb Xtra, which still tastes pretty much the same, but I do miss the original Mr. Pibb more.
Would I miss the Coke and Mr. Pibb? = YES
Would I still go to SDC even if they switched to Pepsi? = nothing would keep me away!
You have a great past just ahead of you.

Well for me, Diet Coke is the usual imbibe of choice.  But it really would not have any effect at all on my trips to SDC.  But I understand if it helps them to survive the present economic times...I'm all for it then.
