call for 4 - 6 inches in eastern kansas.

Swoosh

Proud to say I am 1 of 4 schools in NEMO that has had only ONE snow day this year.  There are a few that have had 5 already  :o

well hopefully No more snow......and NO more snowdays!  ready for spring....

History Buff

If it's going to be cold, it might as well snow.

I'll wager we have one Thursday.  Just looked at future scan.... craaaaap  :o

Maybe Thursday and Friday since we now take off days for "extreme wind chills".  Who does that protect?  The kids then just play outside in extreme wind chills.

Swoosh

It protects the kids on the long bus rides from being on a cold bus for an extended period of time.

We got maybe a half inch of snow tonight.  It was rather random.
Wednesday night we're supposed to get hit hard.

We have kids lately showing up in shorts with no coats. I know they are in middle school, and should know better, but unfortunately much of our poulation has working parents that are not around to see kids off to school/ assure they are dressed properly.
On that note... Weathermen here are now calling for 6-8 in the county, and 3-5 in the city (StL.) Kids are gonna be crazy today.

Swoosh

Yeah we're in the 6-8 range here in NEMO.  The kids haven't been bad thus far, but I would imagine the closer it gets to us, the more crazy they'll become -- oh joy in 8th hour. :/
SWOOSH

sanddunerider

still saying 6=8 here...we'll see.

StL schools called, I am off tomorrow...wife still has school as of right now though :-\ she will have to go in regardless to watch students at the day care if there is no school.

Swoosh

No call yet...but schools are closing left and right up here in NEMO.
I hope we aren't the "tough" ones again... we seem to enjoy being the only school open in the area.

Junior

Snow day here in NW Arkansas. It's coming down as I type! Several inches expected by late today. Already the ground is white, the streets too!
"Howdy there folks! My name is Junior Dugan, and I'll be drivin' your diving bell!"
