GAC was our attempt to do something different for a trip. I had not been down there for a show since the Dillards were playing. We were picked (StlPhotGal and I) by Catfish-Kent Woolston, to join the show and jig with the Dillards at the end of the show on stage. We met them backstage, and about 1/2 way through the show...the heavens opened up and I lost my chance for a big break in Branson performances. Ahh what could have come from that...Atleast I was able to get onstage and practice, and go back stage. We saw the Dillards several times....

The other time before that would have been for the Diving Mule show!

I wouldn't have been upset at all.  This heat is dangerous!!

I was there for the May 1st 50th anniversery and There were more people at the Noon celebration show, when the sun decided to come out and really heat the place up with all the humdity in the air that day, then there was at the GAC show that night, it looked just like Rube's photo.

It may be a waste to use that only at night because of the heat.
