I've been putting antibiotic ointment on it and wearing a bandaid, but I was at SDC yesterday so I was doing a lot of walking. The blister was hurting a little bit by the end of the day. When I got home, I took off my shoes and it had been bleeding. The edges of it look like they are healing, but the middle is still red and that's the part that hurts.

well yes it is healing, but you really need too stay at rest as much as you possably can until it heals more, if you dont give it time too heal its possible it could get infected and then you have too go too the Dr and get some antibiotics. my suggestion is too rest with either prids drawing salve on it or antibiotic on it and keep a band aid off it while your at rest. and only use a bandaid when you have too wear your shoes. not trying too scare you, just giving you some advice on what has worked for me in the past.

exactally. and infections can lead to MRSA, and that is nasty stuff. Hard to get rid of.

You're not scaring me because my mom is a nurse who always thinks of the worst so I've already heard it all!!
I wore sandals to church this morning so nothing was rubbing on it. I bought liquid bandaid stuff because it is hard to keep bandaids sticking because the bandaid has to go over where my foot bends when I walk, but when I'm wearing tennis shoes or shoes that cover the blister, I wear a regular bandaid to keep the shoes from rubbing. I'm just glad its still warm enough to wear sandals and flipflops so I don't have to worry about shoes!!

It's all better. If I didn't see the scar, I would swear it never happened!

I didn't use the salve. I used triple antibiotic ointment instead and it seemed to work.
