Very nice. I played bass in a band for several years in StL, but a rock bass is much different than a bluegrass bass in technique, style, and progressions. The lack of frets scares me though! I would be afraid that I wouldn't be at the right spot!

Bad news folks...The dr. wants to cast my thumb for 4-6 weeks. It'll at least gimme time to learn some more basics, and hopefully then I will be healed enough to not need the surgery on the ligament.

On a totally different note does anyone on here own a Guitjo? It could also be called a banjitar, or a ganjo...If you've never heard of one...look it up, it is awesome! I want one...not that I could play it right now!

If by banjitar, you mean a six string banjo tuned as a guitar, yes, I have played one. Kinda felt like I was cheating though....

Indeed, it is a 6 string banjo tuned as a guitar! A bit of cheating I guess, but i won't tell anyone if you don't!

Oficially in a cast up to me elbow...funny i made it almost 30 yrs w/out a cast...this is not even 8hrs old, and I am done with it!only 4 weeks left!
