Okay so I went to sdc website to look at prices of 2013 season passes and very pleased with price. Did notice a slight change to the BAF. The summer ticket (July 20-Aug 4) is no longer a free BAF. The cost is 20$ to use that ticket. Cheap yes, but I buy early to get free tickets ya know? But on the other hand that is revenue for the city.....

trams, i see that,,,, probably figure people will pay since it is summer time (vacation)...as you said extra revenue..

Also most parking pass went way up is now $30 compared to $18.00 last year. I am going to have rethink maybe especially since they still have kept it to one car only. Disappointed with this decision

I would never buy the parking pass. Not when they have free parking. It is sad they did raise the price. I thought 18.00 was fair.

Ouch! So you are saying that the Parking Pass price has nearly doubled? I am with Trams as I just park in the free spots, but for those folks who appreciate the service, it will hurt their pocket books a bit more.

It's interesting. The ticket prices are the same, yet each year the operating cost really do go up. So how does park management deal with the higher operating cost without alienating customers with increased ticket prices? By making other smaller services more expensive. The $20 BAF Pass next summer, and the $30 Parking Pass is an excellent example of this.

Ok...so the BAFs are still a perk other than the summer one, which is $20? Is there a BAF to replace it, or just pay the $20 if you want that one?

Upon further investigation the 20$ ticket during moonlight madness gets you in all day. Not just the 5-close....

I thought tickets were 71 or 73 last year? plus tax of course..

That's very reasonable, IMO. Isn't that a win-win for all? It puts guests in the park during the day when everything is open for a low cost, and it gives the park a chance to make some extra cash on their purchases.

That is what I thought. I did not like the reduced hours ticket. I am glad they came up with a compromise.
