Do they have guitar straps in the Leather shop?

I haven't seen that before. If so, I know what I want for my birthday!

I have never looked for one, I have always stuck to simple store bought cheap fabrick straps. If they sell them, I am really buying one this season with my name tooled into it, and if not why the heck don't they?

This reminds me of a special memory I have at SDC. A long time ago the toy store had strips of leather that you could stamp your name on. I still have my leather strip and use it as a bookmark. The letters are a bit crooked because I stamped it myself when I was 7. Off topic. Sorry!

I still have my keychain made at the kids area over 20 yrs ago.

Remember the old couple that used to sit in themiddle of the old toy store ( at the treehouse) and sell home made yo-yos?
They stamped my name into one, then they oiled it up for you.
They were the best, that's what SDC was like when I was a kid, I am afraid those personal memories are a thing of the past. There is very little personalisation now.

There was a time when you could approach craftsmen and special order items that you wanted. A guitar strap at the leather shop is not unheard of. They did it years in the past. The glass blowers, cut glass, basket shop, and others might still do this. Just approach and ask. Anyone doing so should carry money with them, probably lots of it.
