Branson Talk / Re: Bed and Breakfasts

We spoke with the owner while we were there, and that is a recent change.  Although personally, I prefer breakfast in the room on my own schedule.

We also checked into Cameron's Crag (www.camerons-crag.com) and Kite House (www.kitehouse.com) before booking with Aunt Sadies.  Some friends of ours liked Cameron's Crag, and I read reviews of Kite House, and it got great reviews, we just thought the private cottage at Aunt Sadies was more of what we were looking for.

We stayed at Aunt Sadie's (www.auntsadies.com) for our 10th Anniversary, and we really enjoyed it.  We stayed in the Reflections cottage.  It had a private hot tub on the back screened porch, and a nice front porch.  The back overlooked the woods, so it was as if we were the only ones there.

However, it wasn't your typical B&B...the breakfast was provided in our room, and wasn't a hot breakfast.  We had homemade cinnamon rolls the first day, and homemade bread and cookies the second day.  There was also soda, juice and milk in the fridge.

Anybody else wish SDC would change the format of their season passes?  I would like them to be more substantial, instead of the flimsy "card" that they are now.

I know cost is the determining factor in their current design, but I have had to have all of my family's passes redone this year, and the line on Saturday to have them reprinted was out of control...and a minor issue...the new ones do not have the 50th Anniversary design.   :'(

I had a SF season pass several years ago, and it was a nice plastic card printed with my name and picture on it, similar to a drivers' license.

On a similar, but different note...I was at the city on Wednesday, and sat by the waterfall in the Lumber Camp area and noticed a couple of orange flags on the upper end of that area, behind the little shops that are along the walkway up to PowderKeg.  I don't know if they mean anything, but I thought I would mention them.

Wow, my statistics are sad.  I am a true lurker!  I never logon when I read, but I've spent hours on here and have to check the site multiple times a day!!  Actually....this is my first post!  LOL!   ;D
