Hi folks new to this forum but I figured I would ask if any employees are on here if they have any advice of working at silver dollar city. I am interning there this summer in the merchandise department- what I hear I will do most days is team lead a store, and also be 410 person a few times, but I haven't heard anything official from park yet besides form to fill out for housing (praying the new dorms are finished by the time I need to move in).
any tips for being a citizen? dress code (im not going to be in costume but just normal polo/khakis), employee cafeteria, fun events for employees, discounts, how is theme park merch different than working normal retail? (my 3 year experience at 5 different stores helped secure the job) thanks in advance and can't wait to go in may!
