Just talked with family that is at the park today, said it's "the busiest they have ever seen it"

Nah I'd rather them hide it (Roaring Falls) back behind GG.

I just hope they find a way to have it splash to where it looks like it is landing in the lake, I think that would be awesome.

I still wish they would build an aquarium. It's something this area could really use.

Anyone else  think the Doc character is a little scary for kids?

We were with my nephew and niece (5 and 2) and they both started crying after he tried to talk with them. We saw at least 4 other kids start crying, too!!

I thought it was kinda funny, but I can see where he would scare them. My nephew asked me "is he drunk?"

Yes but KC and StL don't really have a district like the Landing.
One could argue Legends in KC, but not really.

HoB in Branson would be a hit

Have you been to the Power and Light district in KC? It's pretty awesome.

House of Blues would dominate down at the Landing, but they don't even have one in KC or STL, so I doubt B-town would get one!

"To clarify, Silver Dollar City has not added new smoking areas for several years, the one you mentioned at PowderKeg is one of the original smoking locations and is not a new location. "

I wish they had a Pat O'Brians there.  They are a lot like the Piano Bar, but have much better food and drinks.  It is also Mardi Gras themed so it is a fun atmosphere

Plus it seems like I'm always running into people from Louisiana down in Branson.

Two restaurants I would like to see in Branson:

Margaritaville (That place would make a KILLING)
Hard Rock Cafe

My worst day was last summer, we took family and they could ONLY go on a Saturday. The park was absolutely packed!! I remember we ended up parking in some grass field that felt like it was part of Rock Lane. It took about a hour to get from there to the entrance because the trams were always full by the time they got to us.

Once we got in the park, they wanted to ride PowederKeg because they hadn't yet, so we waited in like for about 40 minutes and we were 3 trains from riding when it shut down!

Wasn't there already that one smoking area by the queue for FITH? Why add one so close to that one that has been there for as long as I can remember?

Is anyone else disgusted that SDC has made the observation deck for the PowderKeg launch a smoking area? We would always sit there with non-riders to watch the people's faces when the ride shoots off, but it's unbearable now to be around all those smokers. Terrible idea to put it there because I know when we were there today, at least 20 people turned back around when they saw all the smokers standing there.

A new white water on the cc prooerty would be great. The could keep Ozcat and the tidal wave ride and the fountain in front of ozcat and bulid a wave pool on the great lawn
put in new flumes and slides. A water coaster with the uphill runs would add a new element to the park as well.

Wavepool on the great lawn would be AWESOME
