2019 Trip Reports
« on: January 03, 2019, 09:19:27 AM »
Just announced.  April 5-7 will be Young Heathens... I mean Christians Weekend next season.  I would avoid going during that time like the plague.  Still working out when Cox and Mercy Saturdays will be.

@ Swoosh, I guess I forgot you were there on that High Volume Day!

How did you get around with the other 400 people that were there? :o

There were about 1200 people there final count.  The shows were all populated pretty well.

Not formally.  He said hi to me and the group of citizens I was with at the time.  We were doing a lap through the Riverfront area when we saw him.

Is it just me or are SDC's social media accounts much more active this offseason? It seems everyday they are posting something new, sometimes not even in relation to the 2019 season. The types of posts are also different. For instance, one day they asked to post a gif of how waiting until March to visit SDC makes you feel.

This is a fun change I have seen. But, I could be imagining things.

They are posting more.  They added a couple of younger people to the staff and I think that has helped them.
This is a stick up!  Get it? Stick.... Nevermind, it's a train robbery.  I want everyone to get your hands up and act scared.

Its why I stayed home instead of going. I like SDC in the rain, but I would have to leave my doggo home. He is an indoor baby. Only likes the sunshine. He isn't spoiled or anything. :)

Yes. With inches of rain falling. We had planned on going but now we’ll try to go Sunday instead.

We are going Saturday. Not my favorite day to go- figure it’ll be very busy, but it’s the only day I can get away.

Lovely bride and I are planning on being there with our 4 1/2-year-old Grandson who is moving with his Mommy and Daddy to Colorado at the end of the month.  Kind of a final celebration for the 3 of us for a while.
