The rumor mill is saying that Kennywood's old Intamin 2nd-Gen Tower might be headed to DL next year to replace Raging Seas. This would be a pretty great addition for them, assuming they can keep the thing running somewhat reliably. The Intamin 2-Gen towers are one of my favorite flats.
Little by little this park is turning around under HFEC leadership. I'm a little disappointed that I still hear some complaints about ugly landscaping, trash, and rough coasters among other things, but HFEC has only truly been at the reigns for a little over a year now, and the improvements they've made so far have been substantial. If they can get Predator fixed up somehow, and get better trains for the SLC than this park might actually make it on my list of parks to visit once I get a real job.
