Enviromental and Economic Impact Survey
« on: March 02, 2010, 11:17:51 PM »
Did anyone else receive the latest survey?  It concerns me that instead on focusing on the park, one of it's major focuses was the the environment. I can understand surveying how the economy could affect park visits, but the environment?  For gosh sakes, lets not go down that path please.

Being a good steward of the environment is a sign of a responsible corporation, but to start measuring peoples opinions about this topic in relationship to the park is something else.

Yea, my impression was they wanted to know what the chances are they'd be getting more, or less, of our money, vs what we like/dislike about the park... :-\

There's a difference with being environmentally responsible and being environmentally kookie.  I think they want to be the "greenest" theme park, but I hope that doesn't mean they start rationing toilet paper use.

Being the "greenest" theme park wouldnt make me want to visit more.  Being the "greenest" at anything usually means your the most expensive.  There are a lot more "....est" they should strive for first.

Speaking of "recycle", does anyone remember seeing any bins, last year?  I don't.  I have 2 of the old painted wood signs (clear glass/brown glass here), that were salvaged from their dump...

The University of Colorado is considered the "greenest" university in the nation --- but that sure doesn't help their sports teams from sucking any less... same thing here. ;)

Glad it went to a fan though. My wife would have wondered why i needed it anyway!
