^Same with my district! Our school was called at 5:30 this morning. He never calls it off the night before which ticks everybody off.

I LOVE getting a call at 5:30am to tell me that I get to sleep in that day. Wait, what?  ???

I find it humorous that of the 9 schools in our conference, only us and one other school have yet to call of school.  I also find it funny that we're supposed to be in a basketball tournament this week at a local school and so far no games have been played nor will they until Wednesday as that school called off again.

Makes if a little difficult to do scheduling as my Drumline is supposed to go do an exhibition performance at the tournament some time... it was supposed to be tomorrow night, but those games are now Thursday? I think.

Right now our last day is May 27th. :( We've had four snow days so far.

I just wanted to report that nothing happened here--lol.

We've had our share of snow days, though.

Enjoy your little break!

We have school today, but we're getting out early for "teacher in-service" -- so far this week we've been in session for 2 half days.  Man when we get to our first "full day" it is really going to hurt -- BUT we have a 3-day weekend coming up so. HOORAY!

I'd actually rather go in June than January.  At least the elementary kids can go outside then.  Being cooped up with them all day wears on me.

SNOW DAY #6 for us  ;D

We got 10" or more of snow dumped on us in a 24hr period.  Still diggin' out from it.
I would imagine we'll have school tomorrow but it will all depend on how the back roads are... we might have to go hard surfaces only -- oh wait we don't have hard surfaces in most of the district, that might make things interesting. :D

Our elementary has year round school anyway. If you are not familiar with that they have cycle breaks-9 weeks on-3 weeks off for 4 "cycles" and that's a full year. They get the holiday breaks etc. so snow days aren't a big deal at our elem. ages.

That would work for me personally, but would not be an option with competitive marching band and sports schedules.
