The photo of the steel structure in progress that seems to show a track support contained within it looks far too short and small to be a station platform, but might instead be some kind of small building element that the track interacts with?

Does that style of track support seen there give any hints as to what type of track system will be mounted on it?

I believe if you ride Wildfire you can see a trail of footers going to and leaving the building. The station could be the lower part of the structure. I'll have to ride it again and take another look

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Swoosh? If by chance Swoosh sees this. Can you please just send me an email. npd652@yahoo.com   Thanks

True, I noticed this today on Wildfire. It is for the same reason Expedition Everest is three separate structures: Yeti, Ride, Building. I also noticed today there appears to be a ride vehicle pass thru with a mechanical pit directly under this support, much like what a station would have.

You can private message me if you need to, but I'm not interested in sending an email to find out what you need.  Sorry

Spotted maybe 6 black or dark grey supports in the staging area to the right of Outlaw Run.

Finally. Hopefully we get some track soon. I heard blue supports somewhere but assuming its now black? As much as I would love to see a blue coaster that doesnt seem like SDC...

It's got the blue protection on the ends, maybe that's what they saw, or this is just some indoor section with some other color to come.

Not my image, screenshot of a fan video, but interesting perspective on the lower section of the site viewed from top of Powder Keg first hill, with that curved bank of footers disappearing behind the treeline. Still wondering if the layout will make it over into that next clearing further to the right at the back of Powder Keg, or if that will just be for staging.

Do you think we will start to see the layout take shape before SDC even announces any major details?

The more I look at this the more I think it could be kinda similar to Cobra's Curse at BGT (But on Steroids). That is (family-thrill) and I think SDC would blend a Mine Train theme and some sort of first of its kind element(s) into it but a similar ride experience overall. I think it would be neat to see some sort of backwards train option like OG TNT before it was taken away as well. I do however, think it will be the longest rollercoaster in the park in terms of length and duration by far. As well as the largest investment in SDC history. Anyone who thinks Hyper is sadly delusional. I see this staying pretty low to the ground with some small lift hills here and there to stretch out the length and duration.

Why would you think it will be similar to Cobra's Curse?  I seriously doubt it will be another spinning coaster, and we have been told it will be the first of it's kind in North America.  Pair that will ACE Coaster Con coming to SDC next year, and the massive plot of land.  I will be shocked if this is not a hyper or Stryker.  Those 2 check the box of 1st in North America (Mack has zero of either model in North America).  Delusional would be thinking this will be a Cobra's Curse clone.

hollijo

Obviously I dont think it would be even close to a clone but I see it having similar speed and height while being much longer. And no im not dumb enough to think they would build another spinning coaster (thats not what I meant by similar). I am talking about a low to the ground well themed family experience by Mack. And I'm sorry but if you really think Herschened is building a Hyper coaster after getting rid of their only family coaster you're delusional. This is going to be a family coaster. Even if it is a striker its going to have multiple lift hills (as does Cobras Curse). This is going to be a mine theme type ride much more similar to a Cobras Curse (in terms of family feel) than a Voltron or Hyperia lol. It is probably going to be something Mack hasn't done before period.
