cloggers
« on: January 08, 2019, 06:45:45 PM »
My wife and I were reminiscing so I did a search for clogging.  We recall that they used to have clogging championships on a stage by the old mine.  It was in summer and very hot.  But those kids danced their hearts out.  We enjoyed them very much.  We were thinking about the late 1980's.

Not sure about back then, but in recent years they've had a youth clogging group in the park every summer.  For several years they were performing at the gazebo.  They last couple of years they were at the Boatworks theater.  Great kids, great dancers, and yes lots of energy!
We'd have fun when they would occasionally get to take a break and ride train.  I enjoyed giving them a good ribbing if I saw them.
This is a stick up!  Get it? Stick.... Nevermind, it's a train robbery.  I want everyone to get your hands up and act scared.
