Looking for a true suite-type hotel
« on: July 21, 2015, 01:15:20 PM »
Looking for a clean, quiet hotel near SDC (the closer the better but preferably not on 76) that has true, suite-type rooms, with a bed (or beds) in one separate room and a living area, kitchen and sleeper sofa in a separate room, hopefully for under $150/night.  Not wanting an enlarged standard room.

Thanks.

We stayed at Cliffs Resort outside of Branson by Table Rock Lake the last time we were in Branson and the rooms were very clean and they had a nice outdoor pool. We could see OR, WF, and PK from our rooms. To us, the only bad thing was the distance from Branson.

There's a Residence Inn in Branson. Never stayed there but that's the only "true" suite type hotel there. No Courtyard or Embassy Suites or anything.

You'd probably be better off looking for a condo on VRBO.

How about a log cabin?  Check out Bavarian Village. They are localy owned, have different sizes of cabin that would fit your needs. The last time I checked the prices were very reasonable..  located just south of SDC on Indian Point.
