I have really fond memories of the Toby Show. Like a lot of people here I grew up going to the Toby Show and SDC. My cousin, Ray Toler, played Toby for a while as well as acting at SDC. Many times when Ray would come home Ray Jones, Wayne and Jana would come with him. They were as much fun off the stage as they were on the stage. If anyone is still interested I'll see if I can find out the date for you on the playbill.

Ray has since gone on to be in several movies, TV series and commercials. He is currently working in a theater in Chicago doing set designs.

Here is a listing of Ray's film and TV credits:

2009 Chicago Overcoat
Alderman Rossi

2000 Brother 2
Ben - truck driver

I always considered the Toby Show folks the hardcore thespians in the area. I worked directly or indirectly with many of them. Good people, a lot of talent!

I was in the Toby Show in 1975 and 1976 so this program is from one of those years (unless they continued to use it after I left...). Peace,
