I remember the filming of the Burl ives americas, I think it was called. I was about 6.3", 170 lbs and one day the people in charge decided I would be his lighting, etc stand in. weird day. nice man, though, very nice to me

Those I have spoken with say Ives was a good fellow to work around. That footage in the diving bell is pretty cool. Kerry Chester, lead maintenance man at the diving bell told me he worked the effects panel in the back room for those shots where water is flooding in the capsule.
