Andy Griffith Dies
« on: July 03, 2012, 10:04:13 AM »
About 7am today in North Carolina, Andy Griffith died. It was listed as a breaking news story on my AOL computer homepage. God bless, Andy...and thanks sooooo much for all those good ole episodes of TAGS you have left behind here for us to enjoy! I know it will be a grand reunion day for you and Don Knotts, and George Lindsey, and other cast members, as you all get together and have a few laughs up there in that big TV studio in the sky!  ;D

I have the Dillards Greatest Hits in my car and play it all the time The Dillard's ( or the Darlins) own a lot to old Andy.
What a great show that has given great pleasure to many.
I must admit I was always much more fond of the goodhearted Andy that the Attorney Matlock.

I saw a cool picture on facebook.  I normally don't care too much for some of the pics people post, but this one shows Andy at the pearly gates and St Peter is telling him that "Barney, Floyd, Goober and the rest were down at the lake fishing and have been waiting a long time for you".  Now that kind of brings a tear to your eye.........

Is there anyway you could put that picture on here? I would love to see it!!

I saw a picture on facebook of Andy & Barney sitting on the front porch together, the caption reads: Heaven's Front Porch.
You have a great past just ahead of you.

There's a bunch a cool ones going around.  One shows Andy and Barney standing on clouds and Barney has his gun out with Andy saying "Thanks Barn" and above it all says "One shot salute".
