We finally have our own condo, but before that our "go-to" was Tribesman Resort on Indian Point. Before Vickery's Resort was torn down and they went "condo" we stayed there. In fact, we stayed there on our honeymoon years ago.
I love the old, dated (but squeaky clean) lake resorts. When I was growing up, my grandparents had a home on a five acre lake lot a couple coves over from Indian Point. Being the "favorite" grandchild, I spent many summers on the lake with my grandparents. Coming to Branson is like "coming home" to me. Why our family, let them sell it outside the family is beyond me! What I wouldn't give to have that back!! I still make the hubs boat into that cove so I can look at the boat dock (which is still there but in poor condition) and up the hill at the house. Sigh...
