Thanksgiving parade of stars cancelled- a real shame

Branson headlines
The Parade that would have been...
October 2010 update: Due to the downturn in the economy, lack of sponsorships and the sudden change of venue, the 4th Annual Holiday Promenade of Stars will not happen in 2010. It was scheduled for Saturday, November 13, 2010 (more November Events here) at The Branson Landing. Watch for it to return in 2011...hopefully back on Highway 76. Here are the would-have-been's:

it would have been televised nationally on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day (shown in all 50 states to over 100 million households)
it would have been hosted by Mario Lopez, Carrie Tillis & John Daly
it would have featured mega Macy's-style balloons
it would have featured a special salute to Iraqi soldiers
it might have been aired by the Armed Forces Network on Christmas Day for our troops overseas
it would have benefitted 3 local charities: The Boys & Girls Club of the Ozarks, The Skaggs Foundation & Love INC
it would have been a fun event for you to attend. Maybe next year...we'll let you know.
