Hard to believe we are less than 2 days away from opening...wished I could be there...Somebody take pictures for me...I can smell the pork rinds now...

getting close now... sure wish i could justify the drive down thursday then back home, then back on sunday........... If fuel wasnt ............................... oh well.

despite fuel prices, it's still usually the cheapest expense on a trip...just tryin' to help you justify a trip (hoping you'll get me some pictures too...)

If i were not going down sunday/monday, I would for sure be there thursday, but i cant stay for 5 days.

Just glad I am close enough to have the options..

I have tentative plans to be at the park tomorrow, opening day. If all goes well, I will arrive very early, about an hour before park opening for breakfast at the mill. I'll report back later this evening. If I go, I will take the camera and post photos on the Flickr site by this time tomorrow. If anyone wants to meet, perhaps we can make arrangements here later tonight. I will post here in a few hours when I have a better idea on if I can go...have to check the financial situation and get a thumbs up from my wife who will have to work tomorrow and won't be able to go if I can!

Think it's a "go" for Thursday. I'll try to be at the mill at 8:30am for breakfast. Any takers? Hope to see ya there! I'll check this site about 6:30am and see who responds. After then, I'll hopefully be on the road.

I am at work. Feeling very jealous. It aint right. Gonna go pout fer awhile. But I hope all you lucky people have a good time at the opening of the 2011 season. Don't mind me. Staring at grey walls. No yummy smells. No birds or people singing. AAAAAAAAAAAA!
