FANBASE ID
« on: November 29, 2010, 08:45:18 AM »
We need to have a way to identify each other within our group as we past in the park. I personaly have been wearing my own florescent yellow t-shirt with SDCFANS.COM and my name since the May 1st party. I have meet in pasting SteamFreak, Dualist, and U SMELL SMOKE.  Lets get some suggestions and maybe agreement on something that we could all use some we can meet and get to now each other
SDC has always made a great past to remember

Maybe we could all wear a sheriff's badge in a very obvious but uncommon place....Like on the sleeve of our shirt..or something.

How bout someone make some simple pin on buttons that say SDCFans.com.  You could sell-em through the site for a $1.00 or 2 and use the proceeds to help fund the site. I know this is probably a labor of love for shavethewhales, but I'm sure there is some cost involved as well.

It would be easy enough for one of us to create a logo that can be printed on stickers.  The file could be shared here in private messages and thus would not cost or require postage.

I am also open to ideas.

I have seriously considered having a custom SDCFans.com shirt made for myself, albiet not florescent yellow like oldsdcer, but still something that catches the eye. ;)

Here is the old thread that we started with several of my ideas for shirts in there. I know several people on here contacted me, and went ahead and printed their own using my artwork. Whatever art you pick for a shirt, I think it'd be a nice way of showing off the site, and a nice way to recognize each other.

Rube,

I like your design, especially the one with the train on it. I like the simplicity of the black with the white  background.
