Last post by npd652 - November 04, 2025, 09:41:32 PMI know it wont happen but something similar to FireChaser like DollyWood has would be awesome. Cant tell you how many times I rode FireChaser.

Those coasters look so incredible and unique! They look like something SDC would do.I wouldn't mind that. A launch out of the station down the hill doing some twists and turns. Then a pause for a little show then something blows up and it launches back up the hill through the mine tunnels. But I want it to go 80mph. 70 would be okay too lol.

Looks like water channels, or maybe a structure like the caves that have been mentioned? (I'm not sure where this is in regards to the station so it may just be that)
Sounds more and more like a ride package everyday.

Last post by sdcfan88 - November 02, 2025, 05:14:25 PMThere are two large 20ft long forms being constructed further west of the Wildfire lift hill towards the valley. There looks to be at least two turnarounds constructed based on the footer layout. They are large but spaced very close together. There's about 25 footers total but are mostly only visible from the existing coasters. Also the initial set posted a month ago now has forms set up for cylindrical concrete footer bases which support this being a likely Mack project. There is also a pair of large footers placed right next to the Wildfire maintenance bay. This can be seen on the ground via the standing reebar clusters.
I also find it interesting they continue to do work where the old flume channels were for American Plunge. One part they just seemed to have stopped with removal but a lot of the surrounding area is dug out further. Looks to be about 4 feet deep. We will see what they do here.
On a non construction related note I noticed the back three rows of WF got a pretty bad shuffle now. Hopefully that gets addressed.

Reminder that the new FiTH has the title for "largest indoor roller coaster in the Heartland"

There's your world firstThat would REALLY be shitty if that's where they are going with this marketing.
But aren't most "first in the nations"? They're usually made up stats for marketing

also, what has happened with chainlifts at sdc? we havent had a traditionally lifted coaster since outlaw run. was there some sort of incident, or do they just prefer launches now
I'm quite confident that TNT is going to be removed.
Launches take up less space and less materials and have a bigger ROI
