As much as I wish this was a Mack hyper its just not lol. Its a TNT replacement done by Mack. Gonna be a cool mine-train thats family friendly but not very "thrilling"

Honestly, a vekoma  launched makes a lot of sense. Big bear did really well at Dollywood and could easily take on the mining theme. My only concern with another launched is the threat it poses to powdered. I can't lose another classic sdc attraction

Whats interesting too is at 0:53 in this drone footage the layout looks just like the footer pattern currently seen next to Wildfire from this perspective. https://youtu.be/27u69VGRGZ0?si=DqpS-rlrT4rubAL_&t=52

OK, so those DC Rivals footers do look very close to what we're seeing.  Alot of the other Mack ones I've seen don't look any closer than alot of the Vekoma's and B&M's.

It seems likely it is as these very closely resemble their construction methods. (4/6/8 studs evenly spaced) But if its somehow not from Mack I'd love to hear more ideas on what a "First in North America" coaster could be. Employees remain tight lipped on the ride type and manufacturer but keep saying it's gonna be "something big" and be a first in the USA/North America. These footers are bigger than anything found on both Wildfire and Time Traveler. And they continue to build more of them.

The weird thing is even though a lot are saying its NOT a Hyper, the closest I have found that looks similar to this is the construction of DC Rivals. The footer columns/bolt pattern, and the footer layout look almost identical. https://www.coastercrazy.com/forums/movie-park-australia-mack-coaster-t36605-25.html

Seems like a cool and unique ride concept. I'm interested to see the POVs when it opens. Most interesting part of the article is how it really sounds like DW is pushing to become a national destination on the level of the Orlando parks.

For those wondering the OG Fire In The Hole structure is still with us along with the adjacent cemetery as they did announce the latter is set to be moved to the new area.

Also while this was covered last year the view walking up to the Waterfall and AP sure is different now with the trees wiped clean.

I haven't seen any concrete signs of where the station foundation is being set nor any signs of tunnel work yet but I have strong suspicion it's gonna be where that excavator is. They are going hard digging a 20 ft deep channel and breaking rock with jackhammers.
