Welcome to the overly anticpated (by me) debate thread!! This is the place where you get to argue with fellow members! (Don't get too testy!) Follow all basic forum rules, and don't bring this conversation into any thread. If you must take it to the OOTT. (Official Off Topic Thread). All debates will be Silver Dollar City, Celebration City, OR White Water related.

I agree with you to some extent.... you've got to remember that there are 2 areas devoted strictly to families in the park. Grand Expo and Tom Sawyer's Landing. I think the park has to look at the thrill seekers in the next few years to compete with other parks. I think if the park doesn't get a woodie, inverted, or some type of thrill coaster the roller coaster will be for families.

I can't figure out what mall they bought....Could someone post a picture or something??

EDIT: Holy crap!! I just looked on Google Earth and they bought a ton of land! They should be able to expand the park a ton now. I've been to that mall a ton, I just didn't know the name of it. My mom might be kinda mad....she loves shopping.

Some people just don't like football I guess. I love it though. Anyways, I saw that Joy and Whales got their questions answered in Conductor Sam's blog. You're celebrities now!! I'll put up the debate thread sometime tomorrow. I got to doctor up my elbow and I have a workout tomorrow morning. Then tomorrow night I'm going to Rock the Light in KC. Where should I post the debate thread in Whales?? The Random section or General SDC??

I care what type of coaster it is. I don't want a wild mouse or a compact spinning coaster or anything like that. This next coaster needs to take the place of Wildfire and Powderkeg as the top coaster in SDC.

This will be a quadruple post. I'm practically talking to myself here. Anyways, tonight was our first game. It was a victory!! We won 20-0. Unfortunately no freshman got to play at all. That might've been a good thing because I really hurt my elbow in practice yesterday and it hurts like crap. Hopefully I'll be close to 100% by Monday's practice.

On a sidenote, 3 day break from school!!

They would never build a coaster inside the cave. If they did, that would screw up the whole beauty of it as Steve said. I'd like to see a woodie more than a inverted coaster at this time. But an inverted would add a whole new thrill to the park.

I've also wondered when they will get that up and running. If it doesn't get done this offseason, do you think that it will ever get done?? I mean it'll be PK's 3rd season and it still won't be done....kinda makes ya wonder.

Wow! I feel like I missed a lot on the forums today. A LOT of threads had new posts in them. I love that because it means slowly but surely these forums are growing. I'll probably miss a lot tomorrow also because it's our first football game!! I think we'll do pretty good. Wish me luck!!

I was also elected for freshman student council. We plan the dances and have a float in the homecoming parade. We just kinda plan everything in general.

Also, be watching for the debate forum coming sometime in early September!!
