^ Thanks HB!  Isn't it great that a theme park like Silver Dollar City is so well loved by us that we can get so passionate?  :)

^ I disagree the board is on "life support".  It usually gets quiet this time of year with the park being closed. When it opens back up I'm sure the forums will get more active. Swoosh, you yourself keep us entertained and informed with your MIG trip reports. Wait until something big does get announced from SDC and watch the board spring back to life with a vengeance!  And as always Shave thanks for keeping the board running!

Dollywood Discussion / Re: New Indoor Ride - 2026

^ Operate without frequently breaking down?  LOL

^ Doesn't look like any inversions on that ride so that would definitely work for me and my family!  Hey SDC, if you build it they will come!

Stagecoaster!  ;D

^ Yes.  Right next to the waterfall across from the Mill.

^ As was previously discussed on this...No.

^ As I mentioned in my trip report post, a much smoother riding Thunderation!  And a return of the "mile-high mountain cream pies"!  The pie shop really did some great pies- chocolate, coconut, lemon, peanut butter chocolate, and many more.  I would love to see the return of those.  And if not that then a return of the fried pie wagon that they had last year.  Yes it was a food truck and did not fit in with the theme but at least it made pies available  :) I, and many others I'm sure, would love to see some TLC restored to the American Plunge.

^ Welcome to the site!  Sorry I can't help you with that ornament- I honestly didn't know they did different ones than the pewter ones they always offer.  Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Quote from: Jesus4me on November 21, 2024, 07:45:57 AMThis is perfect to place where the old Fire in the Hole is. You can use the existing structure. It would give the park another weather resistant ride which can work in all conditions. The movie could be a "Soar over the Ozarks", with a Old Time Christmas replacement of "Rudolph the Red nose reindeer Flight. "

How about it being a diving bell going under Lake Silver?  ;D

A new Diving Bell would definitely meet the requirements of an indoor attraction :D

^ Hello my friend!  Yes I posted about the Stagecoaster concept but I too would love to see the actual Stagecoach brought back for rides.  I too rode it in my youth and miss it.

SDC Memories/ Park History / Re: Boxing Show

I loved the Boxing Show!  Didn't they do it where the Carousel Barn is now?  I really wish they'd bring shows like that back to the City. I believe they have the signage for it outside the Knife Shop now. Thanks for posting!
